Joe had picked up an early mutation early on, webbed toes that made him stupidly fast on the battlefield, and felt a certain kinship with the group. When Team November arrived inside this ancient government facility, they found two warring tribes of mutant cultists who worshiped a time-dilated nuclear explosion called the Holy Detonation. Between that and his legendary haggling prowess, Team November never did run out of money, which meant they never ran out of food, medical supplies, or bullets either.īut all good things come to an end, and Boring Joe's end came in Cheyenne Mountain. And the gold he was able to dig up didn't suck either. After a few months, Boring Joe's aptitude with armor was such that the Tender Loving Care he gave Team November upped their survival considerably, and he was crafting all manner of strange but effective gear for the team. He never did get much better with his rifle, though his teammates appreciated his skills as a spotter targets he marked tended to end up dead, quick. Throughout it all, Boring Joe lent his expertise as a merchant and modder to the team, while occasionally firing off a 30-06 to cripple or maim an opponent, or wreck their armor.
